From Glasgow (or GLA, the nearest airport - GLA) take the M8 Motorway exit at Junction 28A following the A737 Irvine signs.

At the second junction off this road, and after approx 2 miles, take the off-ramp marked Johnstone B769.

At end of off-ramp at the traffic lights turn left towards Johnstone, crossing the motorway. Immediately turn left towards Morrisons Supermarket. Johnstone History Museum is located at the right hand end of the building.
