James McDowall (Engineers) & Quoits

A newspaper report describes an event hosted by the West of Scotland Quoit Players at the Albion Hotel, Glasgow.

It notes that James McDowall Engineers of Johnstone had generously been making championship quoits for players in the area free of charge. In recognition of this, the West of Scotland quoit players presented Mr. James McDowall with his portrait.
