I have a 6” stroke vertical Slotter made by Loudon’s. Made in 1932, originally run off a flat belt. I rebuilt it, and added V belts and machined a new 2” and 14” pulley to drive it.
I cut keyways on it almost every week.

A great piece of re-engineering.
