Johnstone History Society Talk for October 2026
The second meeting of the Johnstone History Society 2026/27 season will take place on Tuesday 13th October when we will welcome Rev. Dr Lisa Curtice to deliver a talk on "Irish Influence on Scottish Episcopal Identity: The story of St. John's Church in Johnstone".
The meeting will be held at the Masonic Hall, Collier Street, Johnstone at 7:15 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. start.
All are welcome. Admission is free for members, visitors £2.
Why not join the History Society for the 2026/27 session? Your £10 membership gives free entry to all eight talks and the social evening in May. Either drop in to the museum to pay your subscription or join at any of the meetings.

13th April - The Tobacco Lords and the Merchant City by Kevin Scott.
11th May - Elsie Inglis - "Go Home and Sit Still" by Liz Allan.
