Johnstone History Society Talk
The next meeting of the Johnstone History Society will take place on Tuesday 14th October at the Masonic Hall in Collier Street Johnstone. 7:15 for 7:30pm start.
We will hear from Craig Bryson, who works with the archives at Glasgow's Trades House. His subject is "The History and Roll of Burgesses in the City of Glasgow".
All welcome. Members free, Visitors £2.
Why not think about joining the History Society? The £10 annual subscription will more than cover the cost of the talks. You can join on the night or drop into the history museum to sign up.

Tuesday 13th January - Glasgow, the Clyde and Slavery - a publisher's Perspective by David Pettigrew.
Tuesday 10th February - The Life, Loves and Legacy of David McHaffie....an ordinary Glasgow Merchant? by Paul Noble.
Tuesday 10th March - AGM
Tuesday 17th March - Social Evening for members.
Tuesday 14th April - Elsie Ingles - 'Go Home and Sit Still' by Liz Allan.
Tuesday 12th May - Mary Queen of Scots by Alison Cathcart.
