The next meeting of the 2026/27 season will take place on Tuesday 10th November when we will welcome Valerie Reilly who will speak on "The Kitchen Front – Health and Nutrition During WWII". She describes the talk thus- "World War Two is said to have been waged on the home front just as much as on the battlefields. The Government’s rationing system ensured that everyone had a fair share of what food was available. How did rationing work and was the wartime diet healthier than the way we eat today?"
All are welcome. Admission is free for members, visitors £2.
The meeting will be held at the Masonic Hall, Collier Street, Johnstone at 7:15 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. start.
